Mediocre banter and various blather
This has to be some kind of joke. I simply cannot believe that it’s true. No one intelligent enough to become a host of a cable show is still capable of being THAT idiotic, stupid, demented and hysterical (meaning that Andrew Sullivan doesn’t yet have a show, but I digress).

Ricky,
Considering that I’ve seen people argue that South Park is right wing propaganda, nothing from the left would surprise me in seeing the eeevil Right Wing boogieman behind every blade of grass…

I love Olbermann and I love 24. What is a man to do? I thought the nuclear explosion was perfect. It gets so old watching the “good guys” always thrwarting the plans of the “bad guys”. Hell, let the bad guys get in a punch or two. So now I guess we will get to see how government might respond to a suitcase nuke explosion. Hopefully they will be able to get a team in place by next week

Buck,
SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO’VE YET TO SEE THIS SEASON Ricky Shroeder joins the cast this season, so I’m assuming that he’ll be replacing Curtis & thus heading up the team, that will arrive just in time.
I guess they need to add Alec Baldwin to the cast since Keifer Sutherland (whose ancestors proposed the Canadian social healthcare plan, IIRC) apparently is too right wing. I mean, come on, it’s a freaking television show. Things really do come back around full circle as it was around 15 years ago when we had the left bemoaning the aspect of Dan Quayle encompassing a fictional television show with political realities.
FYI, Olbermann didn’t think things through as he now has presented the case that the aspect of fighting terrorism on the nation’s dirt is something that is attributable to the Republican party & the political right. That’s an open admission that should be kept in the dark on the scale of anti-semitic Democrats calling Joe Lieberman a neocon (which political animal has done, btw…...sheesh, they’re not even hiding things anymore). I’m not so sure that ceding the ground on fighting terrorism is something that the Democrats are quite as willing to do as the nutroots crowd is so adept at welcoming.

Hell, I thought that the President Jack Bauer worked for was a Democrat. I can’t imagine why.
And I have always categorized the show as being science fiction because the computers work wonderfully and the government efficiently.
If that ain’t science fiction what is?

I think the “good” presidents have been Democrats (the Palmer brothers) while the “bad” president (Logan) was a Republican. You know, all part of the vast right wing conspiracy that deep thinkers like Keith Olbermann have a firm grasp of when he accuses the show of being a mouthpiece for the GOP (yes, that was chief moonbat Olbermann accusing a show of being slanted).

And….it took Limbaugh until the end of his show (after being reminded by his call screener) to point out the hypocrisy regarding the Murphy Brown episode, so it appears that I’m about 3 hours ahead of the curve when putting forth Republican talking points.
Besides that, I suggested that olbywatch institute the practice of pointing out the blue blogs that Olby uses as his unnamed sources for his moonbat stories about two months ago, which apparently has become the norm at the indefatigable site.
Heck, I’m writing the talking points, baby!

We should probably be a little more patient with poor, sad Olby. I read a report and heard part of the recording by an “ex” of his, and apparently he would be physically unable to satisfy even a Chihuahua in heat.
